Lanterns of Vael

Lanterns of Vael is a slow, cozy adventure game about a traveler who arrives in a mountain town just as its lanterns start going dark. You explore hand-painted scenes, talk to residents, and solve grounded puzzles rooted in the town's daily life rather than abstract logic games.

The pacing is deliberately calm. There's no timer, no fail state, just you poking at the world until it opens up. The puzzles are clever without being cruel, and a built-in hint system means you're never truly stuck — a small mercy on mobile.

It's short, maybe five or six hours, but every scene feels crafted. If you want something to unwind with before sleep, this is one of the loveliest things on the store.
