Harvest Hollow
★★★★★ 4.5
Harvest Hollow takes the classic farm-sim template and trims it perfectly for phones. You inherit a small plot, plant and harvest through the seasons, and slowly rebuild a sleepy village by befriending the people living there. It's gentle, open-ended, and hard to stop playing.
The daily loop is tuned nicely for touch — planting and watering never feel fiddly, and the tools auto-select based on what you're standing over. Relationships develop through little conversations and gifts, and the villagers have enough personality to make you actually care.
There's a surprising amount to do once you dig in: fishing, cooking, seasonal festivals, and a mine to explore. It never demands your attention, which is exactly why it kept getting ours.
